Shane Haggerty, APR, has worked in the education space for 20 years as a teacher, school administrator, consultant and marketing and public relations officer. He has led award-winning campaigns working full-time for two Ohio school districts, including winning the industry’s most prestigious school communications honor, the NSPRA Gold Medallion, in 2016.
Shane has presented at both the national and state levels on topics related to branding, marketing, enrollment, social media and more. He is a former president of the Ohio School Public Relations Association and a former vice president of the National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA) Executive Board.
An accredited public relations practitioner, he has helped clients earn coverage in local media, statewide media, and national media and his campaigns have proven, measurable results towards increasing school enrollments, applications, and registrations.
Shawn Linder has spent his 20-year career as an in-demand graphic designer, working for a top agency in Cincinnati for more than a decade. He ventured to the West Coast to work for Cranium before starting his own freelance business, where he serves a variety of clients.
During his career, he has completed projects for national clients like Kroger, Gap, Speedway, and Holland America Line. At Purposeland, since 2011, he has worked on projects for clients like Lorain County JVS, RAMTEC, Eastland-Fairfield, Jefferson Local Schools, London City Schools, Apollo Career Center, the Ohio Department of Education, and more.
We partner with Columbus-based OnScene Production to power our visual storytelling efforts. Their award-winning work in the education space speaks for itself and helps to elevate the cause of education around the nation.
Truth Work Media helps produce our podcast, Breaker Society. The company, based in South Bend, Indiana, has produced nearly 50 podcasts and provides coaching and technical support for those wishing to take their voice to this fast-growing medium.
